I'm Linda and my maiden name is Laycook. My grandfather lived and owned much of the covina area a long time ago, back when he got to be a major, a sort who tarred and feathered.. owned orange groves. He had one son, my dad daniel and two daughters, Mary Elizabeth and Marium... the latest born was my dad in 1922. Anyway, (I hope that info helped in this quest & is useful here), my father and aunt Elizabeth haved passed. Aunt Elizabeth a few years back and my father before her in 1990. I did not get an opportunity to say goodbye to my aunt because she made it clear to her surviving sister that she did not want to have a single person nor a fuss... And my aunt who is living still, will not tell me where to go and say goodbye.... she's not mean ... she is just a bit practicle, not one who sees the need that some may want to say goodbye. It's been bugging me for a while now...

What I do know is that she was burried (more than likely) in the same place my grandfather and grandmother and my grandfather's second wife were burried, in a small site in Covina. I cannot find it, I don't even know where to look, but I have looked. I did see the historical museum, but there was no one attending it on my two visits there. So, any help would be super!
